Frequently asked questions

How does DOTS scoring work?

DOTS is a bodyweight-adjusted scoring formula used across powerlifting. It lets a 70kg lifter and a 110kg lifter compare totals fairly, so the leaderboard rewards relative strength rather than just raw numbers.

Which lifts does IronBoard track?

The Big Three: squat, bench press, and deadlift. For each PR you can record the weight, your bodyweight at the time, equipment, and whether it was hit in competition.

What if my gym isn't in the app?

You can add it. Search nearby gyms first, and if yours doesn't come up, create a new one so other lifters can join.

How do I sign in?

IronBoard uses Sign in with Apple. No separate password to manage — and you can use private email relay if you'd prefer to keep your address hidden.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes, any time. Delete your account from the app settings and all your profile, PRs, and uploaded videos are permanently removed from our servers.
